Hawpe takes batting practice
Rockies right fielder Brad Hawpe moved closer to being healthy enough to appear in Cactus League games. Hawpe, who is recoverin from an ingrown toenail that became infected, did every baseball activity except for catching pop-ups on Tuesday. he even took batting practice, but while wearing a shin guard that had a flap to protect the toe area.
